Sharjah Residency Hosts a Mobile Library Without Borders

Brigadier General Dr. Abdullah Ali Bin Sahoo Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah, praised the Project (Culture Without Borders)" and its role in the dissemination of culture among the people of the community, and to show the prestigious civilized face, which enhances the status of the Emirate of Sharjah cultural in particular and the UAE in general.

This came during a speech on the occasion of hosting the management for the mobile bus of "library without borders" for a week at its headquarters in Sharjah, Brigadier Abdullah Sahoo commended the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and intensive follow-up of Sheikha Budour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee for the success of the project, and thanked the General Coordinator of the project "Culture Without Borders," Rashid AlCuss, and congratulated the operators of the project, which stems from initiative humanitarian cultural civilization, where Focusing the idea of the library, building a modern Arab human beings, armed by science and knowledge, which is an affirmation of the Arab rich cultural heritage, which learned from it all the peoples of the world, and which will eventually lead to a height of Arab affairs in the world.

Rashid Quss said that the Residency of Sharjah is the second leg of the bus, where the first leg was Sharjah International Book Fair, 2010 , where the wandering bus "library without Borders" cross all of the Emirate of Sharjah schools, universities and government institutions, public gardens and cultural clubs, and will accompany this tour a number of events including : art workshops, club readers, plays, and to meet authors and writers, writing workshops, and this step is a valuable opportunity for the lovers of culture who may not be able to buy all what they want from the books, and an opportunity to draw their attention to some titles that have never been found.

Officers of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and a wide range of customers, expressed their appreciation higher for such action, which highlights and promotes standing cultural Emirate, and attracts the attention of everyone towards the important factor of intellectual advancement, amid competing responsibilities in life, and the limited time allotted to reading, or leaving it .
