Determining the Residence Transfer Fee to Another Sponsor

The ministerial resolution No. 22 of 2014, concerning organization and development of services on sector of Naturalization, Residency and Ports in the Interior Ministry, which was introduced earlier this month, determined the transfer fee of residence from sponsor to another sponsor.

The decision stipulated that the transfer fee of residence permit for family members sponsored by citizen or a citizen of Cooperation Council Countries will be 100 dirhams per person, and the transfer of a residence permit for family members of the sponsor working in the government sector, AED 100 for each individual, and the transfer of a residence permit for family members for sponsor working in the private sector or free zone AED 100 per person, and the transfer of a residence permit for family members sponsor an investor or partner AED 150, and the transfer of a residence permit for domestic servants working with sponsor a citizen or a citizen Gulf Cooperation Council AED 100 per person, and the transfer of a residence permit for domestic servants working with sponsor works in the government sector, AED 100 for each individual, and the transfer of a residence permit of the category of domestic workers working for sponsor works in the private sector or free zone AED 100 per person, and the transfer of a residence permit to the category of domestic servants working with investor sponsor or partner, 150 dirhams for each individual.

The decision explained that the transfer fee of residence permit for someone who works in the government sector is 200 dirhams per person, and the fee for the transfer of residence permit for someone who works in the private sector or free zone is AED 500 per person, while the transfer fee for residence permit for someone who works as an investor or partner is AED 500 per person, and a residence permit transfer fee from passport to another passport is 100 dirhams.

The abolition of transfer of sponsorship amounts is AED 100, and a replacement for the sponsorship transfer AED 100, and Replacement of Damaged transfer of sponsorship AED 100, and sponsorship data modification is AED 100.

It is noteworthy that the public administrations of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in the Ministry of the Interior has taken all the technical and service preparations in order to achieve flexible application, with the starting of the new visa regime and the new fee in the naturalization and residency affairs sector.
