Yesterday morning, training and performance appraisal branch, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs/ Sharjah in cooperation with Continuous Education and Occupational Development Centre, University of Sharjah finalized two training programmes held within H.Q. of the general directorate where number of its employees has participated in the said programmes.

Programme titled "Accounting for Non – Accountants” dealt with several axes like basic principles for preparing financial data, double entry theory, accounting equation, accounting entries, accounts, registering within the daily general book and forwarding into general ledger – book.

The said programme aims to empower participants to read financial lists, attaining and analyzing the same (Accounting of profits and losses, balance sheet, and cash flow), and giving them ability to participate in making different financial lists.

Programme has lasted for four days, where it is presented by Dr. Moustafa Mohammed Kamal, Business Administration College, University of Sharjah.

The programme of "Financial Planning, Preparing Planning Budgets, and Administrative Accounting" was finalized as well. This programme aims to improve trainees' skills within the field of estimating budgets, empowering them to be able to understand the system of estimating budgets in UAE authorities, departments and bodies as being information system allocated to planning, performance rectification and control.

It aims to empower participants to use administrative accounting within the fields of planning, control, and rectifying investment projects efficiently.

Programme has lasted for seven days, where it is presented by both Dr. Sawsan Halboony and Dr. Magdy Al Banany, Business Administration College of Sharjah University.

Colonel Dr. Abdulla Ali Saeed Bin Sahoo, Directorate General of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs/ Sharjah has attended graduation ceremony and awarding certificates to participants. Whereas, he has mentioned that organizing such training programmes aim to develop skills and experiences of Directorate's employees. Moreover, he has asserted that General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs/ Sharjah is seeking to promote and maintain human resources along all levels of directorate and qualifying them to do their duties efficiently and neatly.

Farid Al Amiry, Director of Continuous Education and Occupational Development Centre, University of Sharjah has assured that existed cooperation between the Centre and General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs/ Sharjah has come as results of directions that University of Sharjah tends and seeks to embody through partnership and dual consideration with corporations.
