No Ban on Issuing Visas to Bangladesh Workers

Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Minhali, Assistant Undersecretary for Naturalization, Residency and Ports in the Ministry of Interior, denied stop issuing new visas for Bangladeshi nationality.

He confirmed that no decision from any governmental authority, to stop issuing visas for Bengali nationality, but there are reorganizing rules to grant visas for unskilled labor, to create some kind of balance within the state in relation to bring unskilled labor, pointing out that any of the private sector companies can be granted visas to bring better skilled labor.

He noted that the passport registration offices, widespread at the state level, did not recorded any note of refusal of issuance of visas to persons from Bengali nationality in particular.
