Sharjah Residency Participates in “Gulf Traffic Week”

Coinciding with the Gulf Traffic Week, Hawaa Committee of the Department of Residence and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah organized a campaign "Let's Work Together to Reduce Traffic Accidents" in cooperation with the Department of Traffic and Patrols, in Sharjah Police Headquarters .

This initiative comes as the embodiment of leadership vision, that the human is the most precious asset of the nation, and the wealth that the nation hopes to achieve the desired change.

This came in a speech delivered by His Excellency  Brigadier General Dr. Abdullah Ali Saeed bin Sahoo - Director General of the Department, through which the expressed the necessity of complying with the rules of traffic and traffic to deal with the risks of traffic accidents, that result inhuman and material losses, as the human element is the pillar underlying the building society.

On the sidelines of the campaign, organizers handed out "BlackBerry" headphones, for management staff and dealers, after having them vowed not to use mobile phone while driving without headphones, this initiative came in order to contribute to ensure the involvement of all society segments in raising awareness of traffic safety, especially young people through the innovations of modern technological devices and mobile phones.
