Saif bin Zayed Receives “Certificate and Shield” from United Nations for “Security and Safety”

 Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Tuesday, received a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative shield from the United Nations, in recognition of his efforts in supporting the work of the international organization in the field of security and safety, and enhance cooperation and communication between the Ministry of Interior and the United Nations.
 
Sheikh Saif yesterday received, at the Police College, a delegation from the Department of the UN Department of Safety and Security, led by Dr. Elissar Sarrouh, Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in the UAE.
 
She commended the efforts of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and the officials at the ministry, for their close cooperation, provision of all forms of support to the United Nations Office for the security and safety and facilitating the tasks of its work all over the world.

Tamer Hamouda, United Nations Security and Safety adviser, expressed his thanks to the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police for its facilities for the United Nations Department of Security and Safety in the State.

Present were Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, secretary general of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, director general of the Headquarter Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police, Tamer Hammouda, Advisor at the UN Department of Safety and Security.
