Plan to Increase the Staff of “Sharjah Residency” in Airport

Brigadier General Dr. Abdullah Ali Saeed Bin Sahoo, General Manager of Residence and Foreigners Affairs of Sharjah, disclosed that the Department is developing a plan to increase the numbers of staff, Sharjah International Airport in Passports Control Department, to cope with the steady rise of passenger numbers.

In response to a question by the "AlKhaleej", for the Department's role in alleviating the congestion experienced by counters in the airport recently, he said: that, in line with the overall strategy of the Ministry of Interior to develop the security work, in the sections and branches of the administration and the guidance of Major General Nasser Al Awadi Al Menhali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior and Assistant For Naturalization and Residency, the Department seeks to promote affirmative action to overcome obstacles that may affect the operation, through the development of abilities and skills of staff and raise the level of productive efficiency.

Bin Sahoo attributed the growth in passenger numbers in Sharjah International Airport for several reasons, one of the reasons is that Sharjah Airport is a regional airport of vitality and perpetual motion, as well as the leading airline carrier (Air Arabia), which is characterized by economic reasonable priced.
