Lecture on Quality and its Applications in Government Institutions

Dr. Salah Taher Al Haj, deputy director of the University of Sharjah to the affairs of society, he emphasized the significant role and benefits Unlimited, for applications of total quality standards in the work of institutions and organizations, especially the government that deal with all sectors of the public members of the community.


That came during his lecture in “AlBirouni hall” at Faculty of Engineering, entitled "Barriers of the Application of quality systems in modern government institutions," organized by the (Center of Continuing Education) in the university and in the framework of the memorandum signed between the University of Sharjah and General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah, in the presence of workers in management the General Residence and Foreigners Affairs Sharjah, led by Col. Thani Obeid Al Shamsi, director of External Offices Department, and a number of officers and heads of departments and staff and employees, along with Mohammed Bin Dakhin Director of Media Center in the University.


At the beginning of the lecture Dr. Basil Swedan Director of the Centre, welcomed the attendees, noting that the center used to organize of such lectures, seminars, periodic in order to spread knowledge and interest, and pushed to the objectives and strategies of the Centre in professional development and participate in raising the levels of workers in different sectors of society.


Major AbdulKarim Askar Head of Public Relations and Customer Service, thanked the University for organizing the lecture.


He spoke about the quality, offering definitions, and the extent of its importance in achieving the results that you want to achieve the institution, indicating the true meaning of quality through the achievement of the objectives and expectations of the beneficiaries of the clients customers or employees of the institution itself.
