Bin Sahoo Hails Cooperation Between the " Sharjah Residency" and Australia

Brigadier Dr Abdullah Ali Bin Sahoo, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah, received in his office yesterday morning delegation from the Australian Consulate, Mr. Scott Consul General, on the occasion of ending his tenure in the state, and Andrew Richard the new Consul, in the presence of representatives from Sharjah Security Zones.

Dr Abdullah bin Sahoo welcomed the members of the delegation and wished them success in their future, and the relations between the UAE and the friendly state of Australia's further development and growth, and praised the partnership and fruitful cooperation between the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah and the Australian Consulate, and stressed that under great informational acceleration witnessing by the world, there must be a concerted effort to eliminate the negative phenomena and constraints faced by passports and border officers in the world, which include border infiltration, trafficking in human beings, and human rights violations.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics of common interest , which belong to push forward the development of ideas and initiatives that will achieve the objectives and strategies of the Ministry of Interior , and the consequent changes to the reality of security and what it posed of challenges facing the security services, which require the mobilization potential and energies , as well as strengthen the role of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs and services provided by the department in the context of security zone system.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the director of Sharjah Residency thanked of both Australian Consulate and Sharjah security zone for their presence which promotes mutual relations and communication between the competent authorities.
